Recipe Price is a tool for Effective Prescription drug.

The application Receptprijs includes all means registered as a medicine and available in the public pharmacy, supplemented with specialist means that can be declared separately for the costs of use in the hospital (ADD-on Medicines).

The application Receptprijs is a product from Zorgstituut Nederland. Receptprijs was developed in 2012 on the initiative of the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport (VWS) and the Federation of Medical Specialists (FMS), until 1 January 2015 the Order of Medical Specialists, with the aim of offering the specialist an instrument for the efficient prescription of medicines. At the beginning of 2015, Zorgstituut Nederland, at the request of the FMS, took over the publication of the application.

Receptprijs contains current information about the price, reimbursement status and possible alternatives of medicines.

The information is coordinated with www.medicijnkosten.nl and complements the practical information and advice on medicines in the pharmacotherapeutic compass, both also products from Zorgstituut Nederland.
